Welcome to play pickleball at the turn of November-December 2024 in Espoo, Finland in a great atmosphere and fantastic venue! This will be the 13th tournament overall and the 7th Xmas tournament, run by the most experienced tournament organizer in Finland. We will feature Singles as well as Gender and Mixed Doubles events in intermediate and open categories.

• Date & time: 30th November–1st December 2024 at 9am–7pm (schedule and days of events will be confirmed later) 

• Deadline for registration: 18th November

  • Women's Singles (4.0+)

  • Women's Singles Intermediate (3.0-3.9)

  • Women's Doubles Open (4.0+)

  • Women's Doubles Intermediate (3.0-3.9)

  • Men's Singles Open (4.0+)

  • Men's Singles Intermediate (3.0-3.9)

  • Men's Doubles Open (4.0+)

  • Men's Doubles Intermediate (3.0-3.9) 

  • Men's Doubles 60+ (3.0–3.5)

  • Mixed Doubles Open (4.0+)

  • Mixed Doubles Intermediate (3.0-3.9)
     

• Women's Doubles teams are allowed to participate in Men's Doubles Open. Ladies are also allowed to participate in Men's Singles Open   

• You can only play in one Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Singles event 

• Tournament fees: one event = 35 €/player, two events = 60 €/player, three events = 80 €/player

• Official tournament ball: Franklin X-40 (optic yellow, USAP approved)

• All paddles used need to be USAP Approved and must be listed on the USAP Approved paddles website: https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/. The "USA Pickleball Approved" logo alone will not be enough.
   

• The tournament will be played on acrylic tennis courts (GreenSet Comfort surface) w/ taped pickleball lines

• Up to 8 pickleball courts available, even more if needed

• The organizer has the right to combine or cancel events if insufficient entries.

In each event the minimum is five teams/players and each is guaranteed minimum of four games/matches.

Please send in your registration as soon as possible. Deadline for registration is Monday 18th November.

• If a player cancels their registration after 22nd November, the tournament fees will not be refunded

• If the minimum amount of teams/players have not registered and merging events is not possible, the registration fees for that specific event may be refunded. Same applies if a partner can't be found for a player in an event they've registered in.

Note:

• Please try to confirm your playing partner already before sending your registration. Tell their name in the registration form. This procedure saves a lot of time and payment refunds

• Please note that each player must fill up the registration form individually

• If you intend to play in more than one event, please register for all of them at the same time. The system does not allow registrations and payments made one by one for each event. Ask the organizer for help and later manual registrations if needed

• Even though you wouldn't have partner(s), you are still welcome to register. We will try to find partner(s) for you if available.​

• The tournament venue is easy to reach from Helsinki center and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. There's a train station ("Koivuhovi") about 700 metres from the venue. The commuter train takes ca. 20 mins from Helsinki Center to the venue

Pickleball Finland is the most experienced tournament organizer in Finland. We run the biggest and the only truly international tournaments and organized the first pickleball tournament in the Nordic countries already in 2015.
