PROLITE SPORTS – THE PRIMARY SPONSOR
Pickleball Finland has made an agreement with ProLite Sports, one of the leading pickleball paddle manufacturers from USA, that they will be the Primary Event and the Official Paddle Sponsor of the Finland 2nd International Pickleball Tournament on June 9–11, 2017 in Espoo.
Pickleball Finland has worked in close co-operation with ProLite Sports since summer 2015 as their official, sole distributor in Finland and ProLite paddles have been used in Finland since January 2014. We are very happy and proud to have ProLite Sports as our sponsor.
The Official Paddle Sponsor
ProLite Sports will also be the Official Paddle Sponsor of the Finland 2nd International Tournament. The winners of each event in each category will be awarded with ProLite paddles. Also other ProLite items will be available as prizes.
Competition, clinics and exhibition match
In our tournament we will see four players from the ProLite Pro Team, competing for the Finnish Open Championships. The pros will participate in all three events (women's & men's doubles and mixed doubles). Should they win, they will receive gold medals in a special Pro category.
In addition, the ProLite pros will give free technique clinics for all participants (in groups) during the tournament. They will also play an exhibition match. ProLite Pros are also happy to tell more about ProLite paddles, their personal favorite models and why they use them.
The clinics and the exhibition match will most probably take place during the Friday evening session on June 9th (date & time to be confirmed).

The ProLite Pros in Finland
The ProLite pros taking part in our tournament are Gigi LeMaster, Cookie Drake, Brian Ashworth and Bill Ritchie, all USAPA tournament rated 5.0 players, who have won numerous medals and championships in several major tournaments in USA and internationally. For all the participants of the tournament, this will be a unique opportunity to see, ask and learn more about pickleball directly from the pros. Together with the participating players from all around Europe and overseas, in this tournament there will definitely be some of the best pickleball played in North Europe so far. You certainly don't want to miss this!
